Bodywork for PTSD 1 focuses on what we can do to help those surviving trauma through healthy touch, education, and a trauma-informed approach. The 2-day workshop explores the role of the Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) in how bodywork can support increased client resiliency. The hands-on portion uses 12 manual therapy techniques to address the stress response. Discussions include: becoming trauma-informed, creating safe & neutral treatment spaces, healthy touch, boundaries, and what you can do to help.
