Bodywork for PTSD 1

A foundational trauma-informed massage training for licensed massage therapists working with complex nervous system presentations.

Course Overview

Bodywork for PTSD 1 introduces a structured framework for working with clients whose nervous systems are shaped by stress or trauma. This course moves beyond technique and focuses on clinical reasoning, pacing, and regulation-based intervention.

Participants will learn how to recognize patterns of autonomic dysregulation, respond without force, and build professional confidence when sessions become complex.

What You'll Learn

• Identify patterns of autonomic dysregulation in clinical sessions.

• Apply regulation-first principles without force-based intervention.

• Adapt pacing and pressure to support safety and client stability.

• Differentiate structural restriction from nervous system protection.

• Build clinical reasoning beyond memorized protocols.
