Sacrology

The purpose of this class is to offer guidelines for our common sense understanding of the theory of the sacrum – the 'keystone' of our anatomy and our anatomical center of gravity. We will also discuss the complexity of the muscles and nerves surrounding the sacrum. By utilizing the Sacro Wedgy combined with a variety of gentle, non-invasive releases and strengthening isometrics, we offer the therapists a tool to help create muscle balance and support themselves and their clients. The simplicity of the Sacro Wedgy addresses the complexity of the pelvic girdle or the 'core' of our anatomy. As one therapist states, the Sacro Wedgy is 'profoundly simple.' The more we achieve balance in the center, the better the entire posture will be, resulting in fewer symptoms and faster recovery.
