Bodywork for PTSD 1 focuses on what we can do to help those surviving trauma through healthy touch, education, and a trauma-informed approach. The 2-day workshop explores the Autonomic Nervous System's (ANS) role in trauma and recovery. Experience how bodywork supports increased client resiliency. The hands-on portion uses 12 manual therapy techniques to help change the stress response. Discussions include: becoming trauma-informed, creating safe & neutral treatment spaces, healthy touch, boundaries, and what you can do to help.
