Participants will learn to anticipate & treat triggers of PTSD episodes, understand their role & scope of practice in the healing process & get hands-on time with techniques in instructor- monitored sessions. The lecture will discuss clinical PTSD taken from the DSM-V & how it shows up on a massage table & in life. Will explore how "healthy touch" can facilitate change in client's tissues, empower the client to be part of the healing process & grow their understanding of listening, assessing & treating stress & PTSD.
